Hello all, we are gradually updating our users from Office to in our company. It's been going very well until today when one user has her to-do bar grayed out and I am unable to apply it to her Outlook unless I start it in Safe Mode.

Then it works fine. I've tried disabling all zoom grayed out in outlook 2016 - none: add-ins in regular start-up mode, but that doesn't solve it. I've tried different themes - no go. Tried a new profile - nada. Tried renaming the Outlook data file - still same problem.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I failed to mention that I had already tried the "resettodobar" trick after reading about it here and that it did not work. The account is an Exchange account. Oug I do appreciate the input. My user called me today to tell me that she had solved the issue by turning on the to-do bar while in Calendar view it was not grayed out in this view. She was able to go back to Mail view and it was still on. She then turned it off while in Calendar view, and it appeared normally zooom Mail view - ouylook grayed out any longer.

Greyed out zoom tool. I can't figure out why the zoom tool is greyed out all of a sudden. I've tried all the view option and none of them just give me a simple one-page document displayed large enough for me to read.

Something has changed and I can't figure out what. In the past, I have always been able to open my document, click the zoom tool, set the percent of zoom, and my document enlarged. Now that process doesn't work.

I get quite a few complaints from people who say nonf: fonts are tiny or huge or the font used for the reply shrinks yet Microsoft Outlook shows they are using a normal size font such as 10 or 12 pt.
